Through MyCapture.com, the Rockford Register Star and rrstar.com offer two ways to purchase photographs and photo-related merchandise: (1) purchase of individual pictures from online photo galleries; and (2) purchase of reprints from the daily and Sunday newspapers, and related magazine print products.

Only staff and selected freelance photos published in the newspaper or posted in online galleries are available for sale. There are no unpublished or unposted "outtakes."

The Register Star and rrstar.com retain the copyrights. Purchased photos may only be used for personal, non-commercial, non-political purposes. Full copyright terms are available here. On this page, you can view, e-mail to a friend or purchase a Register Star photo. Here’s how: Select the date the picture appeared in our newspaper and browse through our gallery.

When you find a photo you want to view, click the magnifying glass icon, which will enlarge the photo. If you want to e-mail a photo to a friend, select the envelope icon.

Besides offering traditional reprints, we now offer photo gifts. We have it mugs, mouse pads, T-shirts, puzzles, cards and much more. Purchasing photo gifts is easy. Once you find the picture you like, click the "Purchase this photo" link. At this point you will be able to choose the product -- reprint or gift -- you would like to buy.

To purchase our photos, select the shopping cart icon. When selecting this option, you will be able to choose from various products, including an 8x10 inch reprint of the photo, a coffee mug or T-shirt. For more information about ordering, please visit the FAQ page.
